The Man Going Fishing

The Man Going Fishing

As for the fisherman he was a very poor man. He had no food to eat because he would just sell what he would fish to buy his food. What he did was he looked on a stone. He looked at what his fish trap caught. He wet his hair as he was bored. When he was about to wet his hair his hat fell. He dived and he floated back on top of the water and when he got out of the water he chewed tobacco, and then he dived again and he went inside.

He found house inside the water. It was a very beautiful house.

And there was an old woman. She said, "Sit down there so that I will get food for us to eat." They ate eggs and chicken.

Then the old man finished eating. She said, "Just a minute and I will load up your fish-basket." As for this basket do not open it. When you go home you must butcher a chicken and the following day you must butcher a pig and then you can open it."

"Where will I pass?"

The old woman said, "Close your eyes." He closed his eyes at where he was staying and he arrived at their home. And when he arrived at their home he said to his wife, "Let’s eat our chicken." The next day they butchered also a pig. And when he opens the basket he was happy because it was full of expensive-native-necklaces. So that was what they sold to buy their food and they became rich.

Their neighbor peeked on them and he saw him wearing a G-string and his wife was wearing the beautiful beads. He said, "Show me were you got them." And their neighbor went too.
